’We are confident that under her guidance, Alps will continue to thrive and achieve new heights,’ says chairman
MGA Alps has appointed Michelle O’Reilly as its new managing director, taking over from Ian Micklewright.
O’Reilly qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and helped establish Alps Legal in 2014, where she served as director of legal practice.
She has since spent the past decade as operations director at Alps.
The MGA described O’Reilly as “a seasoned industry veteran” who “has been instrumental in shaping Alps’ success”.
Julian Tomlinson, chairman at Alps, added: “O’Reilly has achieved so much in the last decade as operations director and we’re thrilled to see her ascend to the role of managing director, where she’ll undoubtedly excel.
”We are confident that under her guidance, Alps will continue to thrive and achieve new heights.”
O’Reilly added: “I’m proud and excited to take the helm as managing director at Alps, to lead the team and continue to deliver innovative solutions to our broker partners.
“Our next phase of growth will see us double in size and we have a clear strategic path for achieving those aims through both organic growth and complementary M&A deals.”
Succession
O’Reilly succeeds Ian Micklewright, who is leaving the company to pursue a career in insurance software.
