’This new offering exemplifies our commitment to develop customer centric insurance solutions,’ says chief executive
Managing general agent (MGA) OneBefore has teamed up with digital broker Superscript to launch a new income interruption protection product.
The proposition aims to cover people against loss of income as a result of sickness or accident.
It has been tailored for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), contractors and self-employed individuals.
Vered Lobel, chief executive at OneBefore, said: “Income interruption fills a critical market gap, offering flexible income interruption coverage for SMEs and sole traders, who are the backbone of UK commerce.
“An easy to use pricing model eliminates the need for detailed demographic information, ensuring affordability and accessibility.
“This new offering exemplifies our commitment to develop customer centric insurance solutions that are comprehensive, accessible and fairly priced.
“We’re confident income interruption will transform how small businesses protect their employee’s financial well-being.”
Features
Among features that come with the product include weekly payments during illness, lump sum payouts for permanent disability or death and daily benefits while hospitalised.
