Global head of TPA at McLarens says the firm is focused on delivering quality outcomes, so it has hand-picked the best experts in the industry
McLarens has bolstered its third-party administration (TPA) offering by hiring a team of six senior TPA specialists from Broadspire, part of Crawford and Company.
The incoming team, which holds an average of 20 years of experience between them, will support the continued development of McLarens’ TPA capabilities at an international level.
They will be based in London and report to the firm’s global head of TPA Kirsten Early.
Early said: “These hires are about building strength at a senior level. In an insurance world increasingly dominated by globalisation and consolidation, international claims handling is a sophisticated business, demanding the expertise and experience of highly skilled and innovative practitioners.
“We’re focused on delivering quality outcomes for our clients and we will do this by hand-picking the best experts in the industry. I’m delighted to welcome this team of trusted market leaders to McLarens.”

The new team of six are all recognised experts within the TPA market and have extensive experience of working with brokers, insurers, MGAs, captives and corporates worldwide.
The new recruits include:

His expertise is in developing claims management solutions for international and corporate clients. He joins from Broadspire, where he was director of global accounts.

Johanna Mulley joins as head of TPA analytics and solutions, also from Broadspire. She begun her career with McLarens back in 1994, however. She is an expert in managing international programmes, with a focus on overseeing programme administration, quality control, data analytics, system management and the provision of management information and business intelligence.

Lastly, Karla Ward and Cassie Watts join as global TPA programme manager and TPA programme manager respectively. Both have over 15 years of industry experience and specialise in the implementation and management of multinational claims programmes.
O’Sullivan added: “We’re very happy to be joining the McLarens’ family and we have ambitious plans for the team. McLarens is growing rapidly and has made the strategic decision to expand its global TPA proposition.
“We will work to deliver a seamless, single worldwide platform, offering solutions that are designed and built for an ever-evolving market - we can do so because of the depth and breadth of McLarens’ global reach and technical expertise.”
