’We’re thrilled to have been chosen as the first recipient of this award,’ says chief marketing, communications and sustainability officer
Markerstudy has won an award for its efforts in helping charity Auditory Verbal UK (AVUK) support deaf children.
AVUK helps deaf children by providing therapy and training to help them develop listening and spoken language skills..
Markerstudy has partnered with the charity since 2022 and in that time has helped raise £55,000.
This has been done through customer point-of-sale donations through Lancaster Insurance and Brightside. Employees have also raised funds through personal challenges, such as marathons.
The firm has now been awarded the Corporate Partnership Award, which recognises businesses that support AVUK’s mission to help deaf children have the same opportunities in life as their hearing peers.
’Thrilled’
Lizzie Smith-Foreman, chief marketing, communications and sustainability officer at Markerstudy, said: “We’re thrilled to have been chosen as the first recipient of this award.
