’We are really excited about this next chapter, not only for the business but for our team,’ says managing director
McClarrons has moved its Malton-based head office into a former BMW showroom.
The broker, which had been based in Market Place, purchased the BMW site in York Road in March 2024 and has spent the last year renovating it.
It has now moved into the new office, which features “a more dynamic, social and functional space”, McClarrons said.
Among features are a large breakout and social area, as well as numerous boardrooms.
The move comes as a result of the broker wanting better infrastructure to accommodate an increasing number of team members to help service its expanding client base.
Garry Davies, managing director, said: “We are really excited about this next chapter, not only for the business but for our team.
“By fostering a more collaborative and modern work environment, our aim is to continue building a team of dedicated professionals who are driven to support our clients and progress their career.”

McClarrons has decided to stay in Malton due to its ties with the local community.

The firm had been based at its previous site for 16 years, with it supporting several local community events, initiatives and businesses.
Davies said: “We hope that this move shows our commitment to remaining independent as we reinvest in the business, as well as offering a great work environment for high-quality candidates who share our values.”
