’As the market becomes more sophisticated, pricing and exposure management capabilities are a key differentiator,’ says managing director
London-based broker Acrisure Re has expanded its corporate advisory and solutions (ARCAS) division with a range of senior hires.
The moves include Lauren Johnson being appointed as head of funds at Lloyd’s (FAL), Assad Negyal as head of pricing, David Ryan as head of exposure management and Lucas He as VP of retrospective solutions.
All the appointees will report to Ben Canagaretna, global managing director at ARCAS.
“At ARCAS, we pride ourselves on providing genuine value-added services to clients through a team of leading subject matter experts,” Canagaretna said.
“We continue to see immense opportunity in the Lloyd’s FAL market and have grown in this space to become one of the largest managers of third-party funds at Lloyd’s.
“As the market becomes more sophisticated, pricing and exposure management capabilities are a key differentiator, particularly for new entrants who are looking for guidance as they go through the maturity levels within the Lloyd’s framework. I look forward to working with our team to further enhance our capabilities.”
Experience
Johnson will lead the division’s Lloyd’s FAL capability after completing an 18-month tenure at Wakam.
