New appointee says she is ‘excited’ about opportunity to ‘be on the front line’
Chartered commercial insurance broker Konsileo has appointed Vicky Ferrier as its first chief people and commercial officer.
A statement released today (30 May 2023) said Ferrier, who joined the business in October 2022 as a non-executive director, would be responsible for bringing together the culture and talent acquisition for the business in her new role.
It added that the move will also see her join the executive committee on a full time basis to support Konsileo’s national expansion.
Ferrier said: “Konsileo has the potential to be extraordinary for everyone involved.
“The closer I worked with John Warburton (Konsileo founder and chief executive) and the team as a member of the board, the more excited I became about the opportunity to be on the front line of such an innovative and compelling company.”
‘Great fit’
Ferrier has held several senior positions during her career, including director of talent and capability at fashion group Very, head of investor relations and communications at Weir Group and UK stores finance director at Boots.

She is also a co-founder of Capital Conversations, where she worked with several organisations to develop collaborative and engaged teams to drive customer and shareholder value.
Warburton said: “Vicky has been at the cutting edge of helping businesses create value through doing the right thing by their people.
“That’s a great fit for us because our economic purpose is driven entirely by our mission to have the happiest, best rewarded and most professional brokers in the business.
“She brings fresh insight into each dimension of that mission and her rare blend of experience from financial and investor relations to culture and people development will help us continue to invest in our people and scale up our business.”
