’We have fantastic people and exciting times ahead of us,’ says new appointee
Insurance distribution business Jensten has revealed that Rob Organ will become its new group chief executive.
Organ succeeds Alistair Hardie, who has led the business as top boss for the last four years.
Hardie has decided to step down to pursue non-executive opportunities elsewhere, something that the Jensten board has supported him with over the past six months.
Organ, who joined the firm in 2021, was promoted to chief executive of broking earlier this year as part of a succession planning process.
He will take up his new role as group chief executive effective immediately and be supported by chief financial officer Ed Hannan and chief operating officer Graeme Lalley.
Organ said: “I’m delighted to lead a business that, like Hannan and Lalley, I’m extremely passionate about. We have fantastic people and exciting times ahead of us.”
Hardie’s plans
Hardie joined the business in 2020 as chief executive following a management buyout backed by Livingbridge.

Despite looking at other opportunities, he will remain as a shareholder and board adviser at the firm.
Tim Wright, chair at Jensten, said: “Hardie and the team have done a remarkable job building the business over the past few years and we’re excited about the growth plans for the next few chapters.
“I am personally particularly grateful to Hardie for the instrumental part he has played.”
Hardie added: “Without doubt, it has been an incredible period for the business and the people within it.
“I am immensely excited about the team we have built who I know will now do the business, its employees and its investors proud.”
His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
