’This is a fantastic opportunity for both our members to collaborate and help each other in a rapidly changing insurance market,’ says managing director
Brokerbility has become the first broker network to join trade body Insurtech UK.
The network, which has become an associate member, has made the move so members can get more access to the insurtech community.
This forms part of Brokerbility’s plans to develop its proposition across a broader cross-section of brokers.
John Dunn, managing director of Brokerbility, said: ‘We are delighted to join Insurtech UK. Their members are at the forefront of innovation in the insurance industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for both our members to collaborate and help each other in a rapidly changing insurance market.
“Brokerbility has a track record in supporting its members grow, so we are well positioned to provide the tools and resources to help insurtech’s scale their business. Importantly, this takes place in an environment where they can benefit from collective working, mentoring and funding support.”
Growing membership
This came after Insurtech UK’s new member framework launched last year – this provides support to new insurtech entrepreneurs coming into the insurance broking sector.

Insurtech UK’s existing associate members include Ageas UK, Aon, CoverCloud, Chartered Insurance Institute, Lifesearch, Lloyd’s of London, IAG Firemark Ventures Meiji Yasuda Europe, Paragon International Insurance Brokers and Synergy Cloud.
Melissa Collett, Insurtech UK, chief executive, said: “It’s always so great to have new associate members onboard as we continue to grow our membership base.
“Having Brokerbility as part of the Insurtech UK community will be extremely valuable to our members and partners. Members having access to Brokerbility’s tools and resources will be invaluable.”
