’Our combined strengths will lead to safer roads and more efficient fleet operations across the UK,’ says chief executive

Insurtech scaleup Flock has entered a new fleet insurance partnership with insurer Admiral’s venture building business Admiral Power.

The partnership will assist Flock in expanding its UK fleet insurance offering and support a wider range of customers.

The rollout will initially target courier fleets, business fleets including tradespeople and service vehicles and short-term rental companies.

The product will be available to customers directly and via Flock’s network of brokers.

Meanwhile, Admiral Pioneer is expanding its focus on commercial customers through the partnership by leveraging the insurtech’s solutions for commercial fleets.

Emma Huntington, chief executive at Admiral Pioneer, said: “Flock stood out due to its innovative approach, strong leadership team and cultural alignment with us.

“With a strong synergy, we are well-positioned to deliver exceptional value to our customers.”

‘Pivotal moment’

Motor fleet specialist Flock said it would continue to reward safer driving with premium rebates of up to 10% for customers that demonstrated improved safety throughout a policy period.

Flock chief executive Ed Leon Klinger said that partnering with Admiral Pioneer was “a pivotal moment” for Flock and that the insurer’s pricing, underwriting and claims management capabilities “perfectly complement” Flock’s data-driven approach and understanding of commercial fleet customers.

Klinger continued: “By joining forces, we are set to deliver a truly unique product for fleet customers that rewards safer driving and offers a best-in-class insurance service.

”This collaboration with Admiral Pioneer enhances our ability to serve both new and existing customers and aligns us with a partner committed to safety and innovation. Our combined strengths will lead to safer roads and more efficient fleet operations across the UK.”
