Insurtech 50 firm Instanda has appointed Kevin Gaut as its new chief technology officer, a statement released today (13 September 2023) revealed.
The role will see Gaut, who has spent more than 25 years working in senior technology leadership roles, work with clients to identify growth opportunities within the insurance technology market and take responsibility for the ecosystem strategy.
He has also been tasked with shifting industry opinion around no code technology, which allows for applications to be designed without coding or programming.

“Instanda’s no code platform is proven to enable insurers embracing digital transformation and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Experience
Gaut has joined the firm from cloud-based mortgage and savings provider Finova, where he was chief technology officer for more than two years.

Prior to Finova, Gaut worked for insurance software provider SSP as its chief technology officer for nearly nine years.
In his new role, Gaut will report to Instanda cofounder and chief executive Tim Hardcastle.
