Insurer Chubb has launched a construction industry practice in the UK and Ireland.
The new arm will bring together specialist underwriters, risk engineers and claims executives to create a proposition for customers and brokers.
The team will be situated across Chubb’s branch network to enable local trading across the UK and Ireland.
Tom Finnegan, UK and Ireland construction industry practice leader and regional tech lines manager at Chubb, said: “We have a large, dedicated team of experts across the country who understand that construction clients have multiple and varied insurance needs.

Product launch
Chubb also announced that it would launch a master package product for construction companies.

It aims to help brokers place multiline construction business for contractors across all risks, including casualty, pollution liability and property covers.
Finnegan added: “We have a broad risk appetite across mid market and larger clients, which we believe will help deliver the coverage, support and service that companies know and expect from Chubb.”
