’Its commitment to excellence aligns perfectly with my own,’ says striker
Insurer Allianz has announced that it has formed a new partnership with England and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane.
The deal will see Kane act as a global Allianz brand ambassador over the next years, with them set to work together on joint marketing activations.
The move builds on a long-standing partnership between the insurer and Bayern Munich, which has seen the club’s stadium be renamed the Allianz Arena.
“Allianz is a worldwide brand and I’m incredibly proud to be their global ambassador,” Kane said.
“Its commitment to excellence aligns perfectly with my own and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.”
Allianz added that the partnership with Kane demonstrated its “dedication to supporting team sports like football, which are as important, as ever, as a societal stabiliser and health promoter for everyone”.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome world-renowned athlete Harry Kane to our brand ambassador programme,” Bernd Heinemann, head of group strategy, marketing and distribution at Allianz SE, said.
“Kane is a role model for many fans globally, particularly in Europe, the United Kingdom and Asia.
“As a new Allianz ambassador, Kane will help strengthen our brand appeal across all generations in the fan community – from younger, fully-digital fans to footfall-enthusiastic families – and encourage them to engage in sports and their personal finances.”
