Andy Fairchild has joined Idex Consulting as the new chief executive of its M&A division.
Fairchild has decades of experience in the insurance sector, having held a range of senior roles such as chief executive at Applied Systems and chief operating officer at Axa.
He also served as the chief executive at Broker Network, with him helping grow the company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation through organic expansion and M&A strategy.
Commenting on his new role, Fairchild said: “I’m thrilled to join Idex Consulting at this crucial time in broking history.
”We have a fantastic team who are not only experts in their field, but who embody the right values and ethics needed to truly support brokers with their growth and sale strategies.

This sees him advise a range of businesses, including Acrisure, CGI, Zing365 and Partners Group and Nordic Capital Private Equity, on their growth plans and operating models, with a focus on technology, data and M&A.
