Brokers will be entered into a prize draw upon completion of the survey, as well as receive an executive summary of the full report once it is published

Insurance Times has launched its annual Broker Service Survey for 2024/25, giving UK general insurance brokers the opportunity to share their views on personal and commercial lines insurer service over the past 12 months.

Over the last 19 years, Insurance Times’ exclusive Broker Service Survey – and the associated Five Star Rating Reports which it forms the basis of – has set the agenda for broker-insurer relationships, highlighting where brokers feel insurers perform well and turning the spotlight on where carriers fail to match broker expectations.

There are two surveys for 2024/25 – one for commercial lines insurers and one for personal lines insurers. The surveys will close on 15 December 2024.

For more information about the survey, past insights and getting in touch with the Insurance Times team, please visit the Five Star Rating Report microsite via the Insurance Times website.

Why should brokers take part in the Broker Service Survey?

  • Insurers use the ratings and feedback received from the commercial and personal lines surveys to improve their services and products. By taking part, brokers are directly improving the service and products that they can then offer to customers.

  • Every broker that completes the survey will receive a free executive summary of the full report upon the report’s publication. This executive summary will include the overall ratings, general insights, broker feedback and more. This is otherwise only available for subscribers.

  • When a broker completes one of the surveys, the individual will be automatically be placed into a draw to win a John Lewis voucher worth £250. By taking part in both the commercial and personal lines surveys, a broker’s name will be entered twice into the draw.

Following the publication of the Five Star Rating Report: Commercial and personal lines for 2024/25, Insurance Times will be hosting a specific webinar to explore the insights that arose from the Broker Service Surveys. Keep an eye on the Insurance Times website for more information on this in due course.
