Market participants can win prizes across 31 categories at December’s luxurious awards evening

The entry deadline for this year’s Insurance Times Awards has been extended to 16 August 2024, giving UKGI brokers, insurers and ecosystem suppliers an extra week to complete their submissions.

The Insurance Times Awards is a feel-good, festive celebration held at Mayfair’s Grosvenor House Hotel that acknowledges and rewards best practice and innovation across all facets of the UK general insurance market.

With 31 awards up for grabs, including six exclusive new categories, 2024’s event will take place on Wednesday 4 December.

New categories for this year include Best Claims Support – Broker, Digital Broker of the Year, Insurance Broker of the Year, Lloyd’s Broker of the Year and Specialist Insurer of the Year.

The flagship awards celebration will also see the return of popular categories such as Commercial Lines Broker of the Year, sponsored by Arch Insurance, and Personal Lines Broker of the Year, sponsored by Ageas.

Other categories available for entry include Customer Champion of the Year – Broker, Excellence in Technology – Broker and Excellence in Underwriting, to name a few.

This year’s Insurance Times Awards will have a Christmas, snow-filled theme. The event typically includes a drinks reception, three course dinner and celebratory afterparty, all held at Grosvenor House Hotel’s opulent Grand Room.

Katie Scott, editor at Insurance Times, said: “The Insurance Times Awards is the flagship awards event for the UK general insurance industry, recognising and applauding the successes and creativity that have driven the sector over the last year.

“We look forward to reviewing entries from market participants and firms in due course and catching up with everyone in person come December.”
