1. Why did you put yourselves forward for the Business Partner of the Year category?
Sedgwick delivered a loaned team of trained technicians on a short-term contract to provide QBE with an additional level of resilience as it embarked on an ambitious growth agenda.
The team’s successful integration into QBE’s business has resulted in an ongoing partnership arrangement that has seen it more than double the number of claims technicians to widen support in other areas.
The team’s tireless input has continued to impress QBE, its customers and broker partners. The demonstrable evidence of success perfectly matches the criteria of the Business Partner of the Year Award category.
2. What do you think makes your entry stand out, and why should you win the award?
Sedgwick’s resource solutions’ skilled and trained claims handling team is handpicked and coached by QBE in its business style, processes and culture. They integrate into QBE’s business and are treated as the company’s own employees.
However, QBE can size the team up or down to meet their business needs and it doesn’t have to deal with multiple resourcing challenges. Resource solutions manages the day-to-day HR and staffing requirements, empowering QBE to get ahead of business-critical tasks.
This is undoubtedly a ‘win-win’ business partnership.
3. What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?
Winning this award would be a tremendous accomplishment for Sedgwick and the resource solutions team. It would emphasise the success of the ongoing working partnership with QBE and recognise the team’s hard work and dedication to providing a first class service to both clients and customers.
