1. Why did you put yourselves forward for the Excellence in Technology – Data Focused Service Provider category?

We’re really proud of what we’ve built at Scrub AI. Having worked as an dnderwriter in the insurance industry, I am very familiar with the challenges that come with data cleaning and preparation.

Our technology tackles this headache directly, making the process simpler and more efficient. Entering this award feels like a great opportunity to showcase how our innovative approach is truly making a difference in an area that has gone unchanged in the market for over 25 years.

2. What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?

What makes us different is how we really focus on customising our platform for the insurance industry. Having worked in the market myself and having worked with clients on this challenge for the last four years, we know a one-size-fits-all solution isn’t suitable.

We are tackling a significant challenge in the sector by prioritising accuracy and speed, while also ensuring the solution is flexible. For example, our clients all have their own bespoke rules and approaches to cleaning data which need to be accommodated.

Our tech team is made up of real experts, so we can adapt the platform accordingly and, in addition, we can fit seamlessly into our clients’ existing workflows. Whether it’s customising how they want to feed in their data or customising their data outputs, we’re here to make it work for them, not the other way around.

3. What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?

Winning this award would really affirm the direction we’re heading with Scrub AI. It’s not just about the recognition – it’s a sign that our work is resonating with the industry.

For me, it’s a reminder of why we started this journey and the difference we’re making for insurers. This validation would energise our team and encourage us to keep refining our platform to better meet our clients’ needs.
