David Vella, executive director at GT Motive, highlights the company’s efforts in the automotive sector as part of their bid for the Claims Partner of the Year award
Why did you enter the Claims Partner of the Year award?
We noticed that the automotive insurance industry lacked a trust-worthy and accurate, modern estimatics platform. There were far too many inaccurate parts reports being generated, which lead to unnecessary problems for insurance firms.
The solution was clear for us. Insurance companies needed an automotive software solution that used cloud-based technology to provide accurate data and MI reporting, which seamlessly integrated with pre-existing third party suppliers.
With us, insurers can now effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders through our secure platform. Because of this, we’ve been able to assist over 80 insurance and leasing companies.
What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?
We’ve revolutionised the automotive industry and disrupted the market in a positive way, which allows us to deliver significant consumer focused benefits.
By providing business continuity and mitigating risks, we can further support new Consumer Duty laws. The industry was dominated by a single supplier, but we’ve brought significant commercial and productivity benefits to the entire stakeholder market.
We’ve removed the monopoly within the automotive industry because we believe in driving innovation and growth. By enabling better communications and service delivery, there’s an additional benefit of collaboration.
We’re here to support insurers and their customers 24/7.
What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?
Winning the Claims Partner of the Year award would mean everything to GT Motive and the team.
We’re continuously improving our services, updating our database and constantly thinking about how to address our users’ pain points.
It would demonstrate to insurers that we are the right choice and to give thanks to our staff who work their hardest to make GT Motive the success that it is.
This award would demonstrate that we’ve been an enabler of change within the market and given people the options they didn’t know they needed. We’re committed and people need to see that.
