Fraser Edmond, chief executive of Broker Insights, discusses the company’s entry into the Business Partner of the Year award category
Briefly explain why you entered the Business Partner of the Year category?
Our submission for the Business Partner of the Year category is in recognition of the power of partnership between Broker Insights and the brokers and insurers we work with and, more significantly, the impact it has on new and existing broker and insurer relationships.
The Broker Insights Vision market insight and data analytics platform uses data to help brokers and insurers connect and interact more efficiently.
The Vision platform helps partners extract additional value from their data. Our technology bridges the knowledge gap between brokers and insurers and delivers efficiency gains throughout the market.
What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?
Our numbers speak for themselves. What started out as an idea in 2018 has grown to become a primary source of market insights and data analytics for brokers and insurers.
This growth is due to a number of factors, including the efforts of our talented team, the market opportunity for the solutions we have pioneered and, critically, the support of our business partners.
2023 saw Broker Insights Vision surpass the £5bn gross written premium milestone. This would not have been possible without the commitment of our partners and the shared vision for a better way of working.
What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?
With so many excellent partnerships across the industry, winning the Business Partner of the Year award would be a huge achievement for the team at Broker Insights.
It would be an endorsement of the support of our broker and insurer partners and a chance to acknowledge everyone who has supported us on the journey so far.
