’We are strengthening our commitment to the broker community,’ says chief operating officer
Everest has established a new global broker management team as part of its expansion plans.
The underwriting group said the move would help it in “strengthening our commitment” to the broker community and build more relationships.
Anthony Izzo will lead the initiative, with him being appointed chief global broking officer.
He will assume the position in addition to his role as head of global facultative and distribution for Everest Reinsurance.
Across the two roles, he will oversee global relationships across the company’s insurance and reinsurance organisations.
He will report to Mike Karmilowicz, chairman of global insurance, who is working across Everest to enhance the company’s proposition and create a framework for global broker engagement.
Other roles
Meanwhile, Everest also announced that Rob Clark, Joe Stuhl and Mark Shaw had been appointed as global broker account leads – they will all report to Izzo.
