(Re)insurance group Chaucer has appointed Angus Milgate as its new head of distribution.
Milgate will be responsible for growing relationships and creating new business opportunities for the company.
He will join in October 2024 and report to chief underwriting officer Nicola Stacey.

Milgate brings over 30 years of industry experience to the role.

He joins from McGill and Partners, where he was most recently a partner.
Before this, he held several senior roles at Aon, including managing director between 1998 and 2011.
“I’ve been very familiar with and impressed by Angus’ work for many years,” Milner said.
“I am delighted that he will be bringing his skillset, market knowledge and his wealth of international experience to Chaucer.”
His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
