’The aim of the integration is to capitalise on the complementary strengths of both businesses,’ says statement
Woodgate and Clark and Van Ameyde UK have confirmed plans to become one integrated business under the Woodgate and Clark brand.
Both businesses are subsidiaries of the Van Ameyde Group, which acquired Woodgate and Clark in 2015.
The move will see all employees of Van Ameyde UK transfer over to Woodgate and Clark, with the integration process set to be complete by early March 2025.
“The aim of the integration is to capitalise on the complementary strengths of both businesses, streamline operations and support future growth by creating a comprehensive service offering across commercial property, liability, household and automotive claims,” a statement said.
Foreign and pan-European automotive claims handling will remain under the Van Ameyde brand.
’Exciting new chapter’
James Eveling, managing director at Woodgate and Clark, said that the integration “makes absolute sense for our insurance clients, our business growth and for the development opportunities it will offer our people”.

Eveling said: “We are entering an exciting new chapter in our history as we evolve to meet the changing needs of the insurance market.”
Egon Scheers, managing director at Van Ameyde UK, added: “By combining our skills, aligning our goals and leveraging our shared expertise, we are unlocking a stronger, more dynamic future for our employees, clients and the industry as a whole.”
