The broker was acquired by Howden last year
Howden has rebranded a Manchester-based broker it acquired last year.
Reich Insurance, which provides both personal and commercial lines broking services, was purchased by Howden in March 2023.
Howden described the broker as a “perfect match” for its strategy to expand in north west England and grow its portfolio of culturally aligned companies.
And it has now revealed that Reich will be known as Howden, with the rebrand taking place on 4 November 2024.
A statement said: ”Howden’s growth story includes the acquisition of expert, like-minded insurance businesses like Reich, an established Manchester company, which was acquired in March 2023 and rebranded to Howden on 4 November 2024.”
New headquarters
Howden made the revelation as it announced that it had opened its first north west headquarters yesterday (14 November 2024).
