Howden Re has appointed Paul Ogni as its new director of operational solutions.
In his new role, Ogni will work in the capital and operations solutions practice and support the build out of a claims management advisory service.
His appointment follows a series of key hires in the practice over the past year as the team continues to build out its European capabilities.

Experience
Ogni brings over 30 years of industry experience to Howden Re.

Prior to his appointment, he spent 20 years at Crawford and Company, where he served on the group’s global senior management team as regional director for Eurasia and Africa and as country manager and managing director for Italy.
Previously, Ogni was a director at Studio Bolton and Associati and began his career as an insurance loss adjuster, with tenures at McLarens UK and Graham Miller Italy.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
