Hiscox has appointed Daniel Williams as its new chief auditor.
Williams will be responsible for overseeing the global audit team and managing the execution of the internal audit strategy.
Based in London, Williams will work closely with the board, audit committee chair Donna DeMaio and group chief financial officer Paul Cooper.
Commenting on the appointment, Cooper said: “I look forward to us benefiting from his contributions, not only within audit but as part of our finance leadership team, as we pursue our ambitious growth agenda.”
Experience
Williams joins from IG Group, where he spent over nine years as global head of internal audit.

With a 27-year career spanning asset management and insurance, he began at Deloitte and has held senior roles at GFI Group, MF Global and Man Group.
Cooper said: “Williams will be a great addition to the team, thanks to his significant experience in complex, global, FTSE-listed businesses.”
