The appointees’ ’deep expertise in their respective areas will be strong complements to our existing board’, says interim chair
Hiscox has appointed Lynne Biggar and June Yee Felix as independent non-executive directors.
The two appointees, who take up their roles effective immediately, bring over 55 years of experience between them to the insurer.
Biggar specialises in advancing global brands across a range of sectors, including technology and financial services.
She has held several senior global marketing and operational roles, including at Visa and American Express. The appointee is currently a senior advisor at Boston Consulting Group.
Meanwhile, Felix has grown and advised technology businesses globally, with her having held leadership roles at Chase Bank, Citibank, IBM and Verifone.
Colin Keogh, Hiscox interim chair, said: “Both Biggar and Felix’s deep expertise in their respective areas will be strong complements to our existing board and as the business continues to pursue its ambitious growth plans.”

As part of board succession planning, Lynn Pike and Anne MacDonald will step down from the board in 2025 following the conclusion of their nine-year terms.

During their time with the insurer, Pike chaired the risk committee, while MacDonald enhanced the employee engagement network.
Keogh said: “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Pike and MacDonald for their many valuable contributions during their tenure, particularly Pike’s support in chairing the risk committee and as interim senior independent director during 2024, as well as MacDonald’s work to establish a very effective employee engagement network.”
