Guy Carpenter has appointed Sebastian Cook as managing director and head of London Europe.
He will lead the firm’s London-based teams, focusing on European business and the newly formed European Broking Solutions Team, who are working to build and execute customised reinsurance strategies for the continent.
In his new role, Cook will work to develop the firm’s catastrophe strategy across the European region, as well as enhance its approach to European reinsurer management. He will also play a key role in directing the company’s international Request for Proposals (RFP) initiative.
Cook will report to Massimo Reina, chief executive for Europe at Guy Carpenter.
