Risk and claims management services firm Gallagher Bassett has appointed Manan Sagar as its new UK chief executive.
Sagar, who brings decades of experience to the role, will be responsible for overseeing the handling of claims and service provided to customers.
Gallagher Bassett’s global president and chief executive Scott Hudson said Sagar’s appointment reflected “the ongoing dedication and commitment of the organisation to serve the evolving needs of our clients”.
“Manan is an exceptional leader with a proven track-record of driving growth and innovation across the insurance and technology sectors in the Americas, APAC and EMEA,” Hudson added.
“His expertise will ensure our dedicated teams continue to deliver on our promise of superior claim outcomes and exceptional service.”
Experience
Sagar joins the firm from Genesys, where he was most recently global head of insurance.

Prior to that, he held leadership positions at Fujitsu, Capita, Allied World, Lockton and Willis Towers Watson.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
