’This change will unlock enhanced career opportunities for our talented employees,’ says chief executive

Claims and risk management solutions provider Gallagher Bassett has bolstered its UK leadership team with two new c-suite appointments.

As part of the move, current chief client officer John Fearn will be promoted to chief operating officer, with him taking responsibility for fostering collaboration among the various business units within the firm.

He will be supported by Richard Fearn as deputy chief operating officer – he currently holds the role of head of third party claims administrators (TPA).

“We are thrilled to announce the appointments of John Fearn and Richard Fearn, which will further strengthen our leadership team and enhance collaboration across our business units,” said chief executive Manan Sagar.

“By harnessing our collective expertise and shared team culture, our company is well-positioned to continue delivering industry-leading service and solutions. This change will unlock enhanced career opportunities for our talented employees.”

John Fearn added that the promotion “is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team”.

”I look forward to working closely with teams across our business, our clients and the customers we serve to drive sustainable growth,” he added.

”Together, we will continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients.”

Other appointments

Meanwhile, Gallagher Bassett also announced Andrew Parker as its new director of TPA and Simon Hoskin as the new director of travel, accident and health.

The move will see both appointees join the executive team.

”Their appointments reflect GB’s commitment to attracting top talent and leveraging their skills to drive the company’s growth,” Gallagher Bassett said.
