Admiral Group’s chief executive thanked the retiring chair for her support as she welcomed the incoming candidate
Admiral Group yesterday (31 January 2022) appointed ex LV= chief executive Mike Rogers as its new chair and non-executive director.
Rogers will succeed Annette Court, who is retiring from Admiral’s annual general meeting (AGM) board after joining in 2012 and becoming chair in 2017.
He is currently chair of global information services firm Experian and pensions and investment insurance provider Aegon UK.
Rogers is also an independent non-executive director at NatWest Group, chair of its group sustainable banking committee and member of its group performance and remuneration committee.

Rogers’ new position will be confirmed at Admiral’s AGM on 27 April 2023.
30-year anniversary
Rogers has 30 years of experience in the international financial services, having begun his career with the Barclays Bank Graduate Training Scheme in 1986.

He worked at Barclays for 20 years in various roles, including as managing director of UK retail banking and managing director of small business banking.
From 2006 to 2016 he was chief executive officer at LV=, where he oversaw its transformation into a significant player in the general insurance (GI) and life and pensions market.
Previously Rogers was also a non-executive director of the Association of British Insurers.
