’I am confident that she will continue to drive our ambitious plan,’ says chief executive
Anna Fleming has been appointed as Axa Retail’s interim chief executive, it has been revealed today (27 July 2023).
Fleming will succeed Tara Foley, who was announced as the insurer’s new UK and Ireland chief executive earlier this month (20 July 2023).
Foley will take up the role later this year (1 September 2023).
In a LinkedIn post today, Foley said that successor Fleming, who joined Axa in 2021 as its chief operating officer, for retail, had become “key member of our leadership team”.
“I’m delighted to announce that Anna Fleming has been appointed as interim Axa Retail CEO,” Foley said.
“She has a deep understanding of our business and our inclusive culture and she is passionate about our mission to help people live a better life.
“I am confident that Anna will continue to drive our ambitious plan for retail growth and transformation.
“She is a strong and experienced leader and she has the full support of the Axa Retail team.”
