The new appointee will assume responsibility for overseeing various global market divisions
Global property insurer FM Global has appointed Ziad Tadmoury as a new executive vice president, according to a statement released yesterday (2 November 2023).
Tadmoury will be based in London and take on responsibility for overseeing operations in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, Canada and specialty industries.
He will assume his new role on 1 January 2024 and also retain responsibility for AFM, FM Global’s mid-market insurance division.
Following his promotion, which will see him step up from his current role as senior vice president and division manager of AFM, Tadmoury will report to Bret Ahnell, FM Global’s chief operating officer.
He will succeed James Galloway, who will retire on 31 December 2023 after 37 years of service with FM Global.
Experience
Tadmoury joined FM Global in 1989 as a reinsurance claims analyst and worked his was up to senior roles, which included deputy director of FM Global’s construction and international power units.

He has held senior roles outside of London, including as manager of assumed reinsurance in Massachusetts and as operations manager in Paris.
Outside of FM Global, Tadmoury also previously worked at Hannover Re’s Med Re Services in Athens, Greece.
