It manages £22m GWP and was established as an independent broker over 100 years ago
Hugh J Boswell – an independent insurance broker has become the tenth regional broker to join Ethos Broking group.
It will join the Ethos Broking group as part of the deal, but the office premises will be maintained and it will continue to trade under its own brand.
Norfolk-based Hugh J Boswell Limited is a chartered commercial and personal lines insurance broker managing £22m GWP.
It was established over 100 years ago and operates from its Norwich office with a staff base of 62 led by managing director Peter Foster.
“Over the last several years we have concentrated our efforts on building the business organically and as a result of the fantastic team we have in place, the business has gone from strength to strength, Foster said.
“However, we would like to further our growth ambitions and felt that Ethos Broking were the ideal fit for us and will support us in taking the business to the next level.”
Fire power
Des O’Connor, group chief executive at Bravo Group commented on the deal.

Ethos Broking Group is a collection of like-minded brokers that all share similar values – it now comprises of 10 regional centres and 13 satellites.
