’We’re here to serve the Bristol business community and believe we offer what they are looking for in the current climate,’ says regional director
Thomas Carroll has announced that it will open its first office in Bristol on 1 May 2025.
Based in Aztec West, the new branch will be headed up by the broker’s regional director Scott Levett and house team members that represent the whole group’s offering.
This includes employee benefits, health and safety and insurance broking.
“We’re here to serve the Bristol business community and believe we offer what they are looking for in the current climate,” Levett said.
“Many other brokers and professional services companies such as ours have been bought up in recent years, but Thomas Carroll remains fiercely independent.
“We are now very proud to be employee-owned and the news that we are moving to Bristol to serve this area has been warmly welcomed by the local businesses I have been chatting to.”
‘Long-held ambition’
Gareth Cotty, Thomas Carroll’s group chief commercial officer, added that “opening an office in Bristol has been a long-held ambition”, adding that the “local market deserves to be served by independent risk advice, driven by doing the right thing for clients, colleagues and communities in the region”.

He added: “We believe our independence makes us stand out from the crowd, especially in the south west market.
