Ecclesiastical partners with Iprism to launch new platform for brokers

Ecclesiastical has teamed up with managing general agent (MGA) Iprism to launch a new digital platform that will allow brokers to offer cover to smaller not-for-profit organisations operating in the charity, education and faith sectors.

A statement released yesterday (16 October 2023) said the eTrading platform would provide brokers with an “easier way” of getting a quote for customers.

This is because they can input customer information directly into the platform and automatically quote a premium as well as produce the relevant policy documents.

Ecclesiastical has already moved all existing non-profit customers across to the new platform to help brokers reach them more easily.

Chris Withers, schemes and facilities director at Ecclesiastical, said working with Iprism over the platform gave its regional teams capacity to focus growing the business in niche areas.

“Working with Iprism gives us a fantastic opportunity to expand on the work we do with MGAs,” he added.

“We’re impressed with their digital capability, which we’re sure will help brokers reach smaller non-profit organisations in their communities.

“By bringing this new digital solution to the market, we’ll be able to grow our business and offer a high-quality service to even more customers.”

Distribution

Now that the platform has been launched, Ecclesiastical is looking to partner with more brokers to bolster the support it is offering to firms at a local level.

The insurer will also get access to Iprism’s own extended distribution, including smaller not-for-profit organisations.

“They have market-leading underwriting, distribution capability and a shared alignment to our philosophies, which makes it an ideal partnership.”
