’We want to build on our schemes proposition,’ says schemes and facilities director
Ecclesiastical Insurance has teamed up with Towergate Care to offer property capacity for larger care home providers.
In a statement released yesterday (30 November 2023), the specialist insurer said it was making the move to continue its expansion in the schemes space as part of plans to double the size of the business by 2026.
So far this year, Ecclesiastical has announced new schemes with Brokerbility on its bricks and mortar scheme and managing general agent (MGA) iprism on a new community proposition.
It said its new deal with Towergate was ”further evidence” of its underwriting capability, property capacity and flexibility when working with specialist brokers who manage schemes.
Chris Withers, schemes and facilities director at Ecclesiastical, said: “I’m delighted to be able to announce this new partnership with Towergate. They have in depth knowledge of the care sector and have proven their expertise as a specialist broker within the space.
“We want to build on our schemes proposition and this is another example of how broad our appetite is within the schemes space.
”The message is that we can provide solutions for brokers searching for a reliable insurer partner to help grow their schemes and are adaptable in the amount of delegated authority provided on a scheme by scheme basis.”
