’Integrating our new portal is the latest step in our continued response to enhance services for brokers,’ says head
Direct Commercial has launched a new broker portal for firms operating in the commercial motor market.
A statement released today (16 November 2023) said the portal had been designed to enhance the managing general agent’s (MGA’s) flexibility and policy servicing to, in turn, offer partners more “functionality and accessibility”.
As part of this, brokers will get quicker access to claims information and listings – they can also keep track of their progress with a tracker and apply filters to derive specific updates and insights.
“Integrating our new portal is the latest step in our continued response to enhance services for brokers with digital solutions,” Adam Marsh, head of agency and business development at Direct Commercial, said.

Direct Commercial added that it will be developing the portal in future phases to suit broker needs.

Features that could be added in the future include the ability to administer vehicle adjustments and access to a document repository.
Marsh said listening to brokers’ needs “was central to this initiative”.
“The portal’s phased development is aligned with their feedback, with the portal designed to offer comprehensive accessibility, enabling efficient administration and quick access to data insights,” he added.
