The new acquisition to Davies platform means it can provide clients with multi-line claims solutions in the US and Canada
Davies Group has acquired its first major US claims deal – Frontier Adjusters Inc as it plans to expand into North America.
The Ohio-based multi-line independent claims adjusting provider will form the adjusting arm of Davies new US claims solution business.
Frontier will sit alongside Davies’ existing business in the US which includes captive management firm – Quest and its insurance audit and inspection businesses. The deal marks Davies fourth acquisition this year, in July it acquired two firms.
Dan Saulter, group chief executive said that Frontier’s breadth of capability, geographic footprint, focus on client service, and investment in technology strongly aligns with its ethos.
Growing platform
He explained: “The addition of Frontier to our growing platform means we can provide our insurance clients with multi-line claims solutions in the US and Canada, in addition to our established operations in the UK and Ireland.
“Extending our claims operations to North America is an important part of our growth strategy. We plan to continue developing our solutions in North America through adding complementary TPA and supply chain capabilities both organically and through additional acquisitions in the future.”
Transformation
Milo Bolender, senior vice president of Frontier said he was excited about the firm’s key role in Davies group expansion plans.
Bolender will continue to lead the business with support from vice president, Tyson ware and the broader leadership team. All Frontier employees will continue in their roles as Davie employees.

Frontier specialises in all major property, casualty and auto insurance claim types, it works in close partnership with national and regional insurance companies, third party administrators, self-insured entities and governmental agencies. Its propriety multi-line claims management platform called FACTS enables end-to-end claims management including intuitive workflow and clam tracking.

Last January AIMCo (Alberta Investment Management Corporation – a Canadian investor took a minority stake in Davies Group alongside majority shareholder HGGC to support its next phase of international expansion and continued digital transformation.
