It will help strengthen both the solutions and experience Davies can offer on a global scale, says chief executive
Specialist insurance technology business Davies has today (23 January 2023) revealed the purchase of US claims management software firm Quick Internet Software Solutions Inc, which is known as ClaimPilot.
This will see Texas-based ClaimPilot join Davies’ global technology unit.
Meanwhile, ClaimPilot’s president and chief executive David Quick will continue to lead the business, reporting to Davies’ senior vice president of technology Jason Wolfe.
All ClaimPilot employees will continue in their roles with Davies.
Dan Saulter, Davies’ group chief executive, said: “As one of the early creators of web-based claims management software in the US and a long-standing advocate for digitisation within the insurance industry, ClaimPilot will strengthen both the solutions and experience we can offer our insurance clients globally.”
Strong union
ClaimPilot provides claims management software for property, liability, workers’ compensation and auto claims for third party administrators (TPA), independent adjusters and self-insured entities.
The firm’s Software as a Service (SaaS) platform helps with claims visibility by using personalised tracking and reporting solutions as well as access to real time data.

Its platform can also be integrated with an insurer’s system to allow for electronic data exchange.
ClaimPilot also has Lloyd’s reporting capability so users can report specific data on risks and claims under contracts with syndicates.
Bordereau reports can also be generated to examine future exposures and pay-outs to help insurers determine premium adjustments and trends.
