Data and software firm launches insurance arm

Software Solved, a specialist data and software organisation, has launched a new insurance practice to offer risk management, underwriting, distribution and data visualisation solutions for insurers.

The business, which currently operates across the insurance, retail and logistics sectors, has hired Rob Faulkner to lead the new practice.

Faulkner has experience in business development, product management and marketing at prominent firms such as Aviva, Allianz, Brit Plc, JLT and Towergate Insurance.

Software Solved has been working with global and national insurers, such as RSA Group, for the past 20 years, primarily focusing on digital transformation projects.

Moving forward, the business is exploring new ways for machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to support faster and more accurate risk assessment and to provide richer data analysis.
