Brit has announced that Christiern Dart will be stepping down from his role as group chief underwriting officer.
In a statement released today (31 October 2023), the insurer said that Dart, who joined the firm in 2006, had made the move after deciding to take his career “in a different direction”.
“We thank Christiern for his commitment and dedication to Brit and wish him all the best for the future,” the firm added.
In the announcement, Brit also revealed that Jon Sullivan would succeed Dart.
Sullivan is currently the deputy group chief underwriting officer and active underwriter for Syndicate 2987.
“During a period of transition, Christiern will complete a regulatory handover,” Brit said.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
