’It’s a huge honour to be appointed to lead Crawford in the UK and Ireland,’ says appointee
Crawford and Company has promoted Paul Lofkin to the position of president for the UK and Ireland.
Lofkin, who takes on the role following an internal and external recruitment process, will be responsible for strategic direction and operational performance.
When he starts his new position on 1 December 2024, he will report to Andrew Bart, chief executive of international operations.
Bart said: “I am thrilled he has now accepted the role and I look forward to him applying his considerable talent to moving our business forward.
“Lofkin inherits a strong business with committed people and I am confident that under his leadership, Crawford in the UK will go from strength to strength.”
Experience
Lofkin brings over 22 years of insurance experience to the role.

He joined Crawford in 2013 as a regional manager and currently serves as the head of platforms.
The appointee is also a chartered insurance practitioner and fellow at the Chartered Insurance Institute.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
