Crawford and Company has appointed Will Gow as its new UK head of cyber and technology risks.
The role will see Gow take responsibility for managing all cyber claim activities undertaken by the UK cyber team, as well as the corporate casualty specialist and international risks team.
A specialist in cyber and digital asset-related insurance claims, Gow will bring expertise across a range of areas to the role.
This includes ransomware attacks, data loss, business interruption, fraud and incident response.
Paul Handy, global head of cyber risks, said: “Crawford is a market leader in the management of cyber-related losses and Will’s appointment will strengthen that position further.”
Experience
Gow joins Crawford from QuestGates, where he was most recently head of cyber, digital assets and financial lines.

He was previously a senior adjuster and solicitor at ASL, where he specialised in cyber, and prior to that was a solicitor at Plexus Law.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
