’We’re very excited to announce our plans to develop a new operation centre,’ says chief executive
Vehicle remarketing and recycling firm Copart UK is set to open a new operation centre in Corby as it looks to meet the demands of insurers.
A statement released today (10 August 2023) revealed the 33-acre site will be located at Rockingham Racetrack and should become operational in Autumn 2023.
It will allow the firm to increase vehicle storage capacity by 32%.
”We’re very excited to announce our plans to develop a new operation centre in Corby, which will provide annual storage capacity for 38,000 vehicles,” Jane Pocock, chief executive of Copart UK and Ireland, said.
“There will be more announcements to come for our customers as we continue to expand our landbank and our range of industry leading products and services.”
’Perfect location’
Copart, which provides salvage services and parts to the majority of the UK’s major insurance and automotive companies, said the move came as part of its growth programme.
