’I’m taking on the role of chief financial officer at a time of great strength for the organisation,’ says new appointee
Compare the Market has appointed Behzad Arbabzadah as its new chief financial officer, a statement released today (2 October 2023) said.
Arbabzadah joined the price comparison website in 2020 and has spent the last three years working in senior finance and strategy roles.
As part of his promotion, the firm revealed that he will also get a seat on the board.
Arbabzadah said that he would continue to help make sure customers were not facing overpriced bills upon taking up the role of chief financial officer.
“I am extremely passionate about our purpose and I’m taking on the role of chief financial officer at a time of great strength for the organisation,” he added.
“I will continue to work with my fantastic colleagues to help make sure our customers never over pay on their household bills.”
’Wealth of experience’
Prior to Compare the Market, Arbabzadah spent 15 years as an investment banker at JP Morgan, where he advised consumer, retail and leisure businesses.
