’He is great at what he does as an experienced commercial account executive and we are confident that his clients will remain loyal and he will attract new customers too,’ says managing director
The Broker Investment Group (TBIG) has acquired a book of insurance business belonging to Andrew Powell.
Powell is an experienced commercial account executive and has worked as brokers such as Clear Insurance Management in the past.
He owns a book of business worth £1m in gross written premium (GWP), which has now been snapped up by TBIG.
The deal will see the book be integrated into Midlands-based The Needham Group, which is backed by TBIG. A new branch in Stratford Upon Avon will also be opened as part of the deal.
Neal Lowe, managing director at The Needham Group, said: “I am delighted to welcome Powell to the Needham Group family.
“His £1m GWP book of business are all very welcome too. He is great at what he does as an experienced commercial account executive and we are confident that his clients will remain loyal and he will attract new customers too.
“Opening a new branch in Stratford Upon Avon and expanding our footprint are exciting times for us, and with the £10m GWP milestone within touching distance for us now, we are pushing forward with our organic and acquisition strategy working closely with TBIG.”
