For exmaple, Clear bought three brokers, including Cirencester-based Bluestone Insurance Services, with its plan to expand across the country bolstered by moves into the Southwest, Yorkshire and the Midlands, in September.
Commenting on the most recent deal, Edgeley said it was “a great example of both businesses combining to benefit from each other’s expertise and skills and increasing our presence in the area”.
Nick Webb, managing director at P W White and Partners, added: “Becoming part of Clear is a great move for our staff and clients within our insurance portfolio.
“Clear has an exciting long term growth strategy, which was a major attraction when deciding on the future direction of our insurance business.”
