’We’re proud to continue our support of the British Motor Museum,’ says head of classic

Kingfisher’s classic vehicle brand Peter James Insurance has renewed its partnership with the British Motor Museum.

The new partnership includes support for three shows in the 2025 classic calendar.

This includes the National Metro and Mini Show on 1 June, BMC and Leyland Show on 13 July and Old Ford Rally on 20 July.

The deal will also see Peter James continue its Junior Judge initiative, which will allow young attendees to select their preferred vehicles at each event.

Tom Caren, shows manager at the British Motor Museum, said: “These three iconic shows sit at the heart of our shows season and reflect the values of the British Motor Museum.

”We’re delighted to be working with Peter James for a second year and are very grateful for the support they give us”.

Garry Carlin, head of classic at Peter James, added: “We’re proud to continue our support of the British Motor Museum and three of the key shows in the classic calendar.

”We know that the marques the shows celebrate, along with the museum and the vehicles in its collection, are loved by many motoring enthusiasts across the world.”

Club partnerships

Peter James currently partners with 12 car clubs and expects continued momentum around its broker scheme to propel it into the top three UK classic car brokers by the end of 2026, entirely via organic growth. In 2022, it was just outside the top five.

It felt the renewed partnership established it as a consistent supporter of the classic vehicle community.

Carlin said: “The renewal of the partnership perfectly aligns with our club focused strategy and we acknowledge that as a key element of the classic vehicle community, it’s important to support organisations like these, to help keep the spirit and enthusiasm for classic vehicles alive both now and for future generations.”
