The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has announced the appointments of two new executive directors.
The latest hires include Adam Harper, who has been named executive director for strategy, advocacy and professional standards, as well as Holly Porter, who will take on the role of executive director for markets and opportunities.
They will both join the association in March 2025.
Matthew Hill, chief executive at the CII, said: “Their leadership will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the CII group, strengthening our ability to deliver for CII and PFS members alike.
”I look forward to the insights and expertise they will bring.”
Experience
Harper joins the CII from his role as director of professional standards and policy at the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), where has has overseen the advancement of its regulatory framework.

Meanwhile, Porter joins the CII from BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, where she currently serves as managing director, leading the professional membership community and registrations portfolio.
Previously, she was a membership director.
Hill said: “Harper and Porter bring extensive skills and perspectives that will help us meet our strategic ambitions and drive our public value mission forward.”
